福龙到，福来到。
As the dragon of good fortune arrives, so does a wave of blessings.
2月2日，腊月廿三，农历小年。有一个民间年俗一直保留至今——贴门神年画，用以辞旧迎新，驱邪纳福。
On Feb 2nd, the twenty-third day of the twelfth lunar month, or Xiaonian (literally minor New Year), a time-honored tradition endures -- the pasting of door deity paintings. This ritual bids farewell to the old and ushers in the new, warding off evil and welcoming good fortune.
连续六年，我们都邀请杭州青年画家王赓为都市快报·橙柿互动读者定制一对特别的卡通生肖门神，今年也不例外。
For six consecutive years, we have invited Wang Geng, a young artist from Hangzhou, to design a special pair of cartoon zodiac door deities exclusively for the readers of City Express·City Link. This year is no exception.
一提门神总给人“老底子”的感觉？王赓说，其实，把传统的和年轻人喜欢的东西结合起来，门神也可以很时尚。
Does the mention of door deities evoke an image of something antiquated? Wang Geng believes that by combining traditional elements with those favored by the younger generation, door deities can also be quite trendy.
今年，王赓设计的这对福龙门神，除了延续一贯的“萌”系风格，还透着一丝霸气，吉祥又喜庆。
This year, the Fortune Dragon door deities designed by Wang Geng, while maintaining their usual adorable style, also exudes a touch of authority, auspiciousness and festivity.
王赓说，“龙是中华民族的象征，华夏儿女是龙的传人。这次的龙，比以往的门神多了一丝酷帅元素。希望大家能在新年里驱邪祈福，平安喜乐。”
"The dragon is a symbol of the Chinese nation, and Chinese people are descendants of the dragon. This time, the dragon in the door deities carries an extra dose of cool elements. I hope that everyone can counteract evil force and pray for blessings in the New Year, enjoying peace and happiness, “explains Wang Geng.
动动手，把印在报纸上的门神剪下来，把你的专属“福龙门神”贴上家门。门神怎么贴？一是要成对，二是两位门神必须面对面，寓意合力同心守护家园。
Let’s Get moving! Cut out the door deities printed in the newspaper, and paste your exclusive "Fortune Dragon Door Deities" on your front door. But how should the door Deities be displayed? Firstly, they should be in pairs, and secondly, the two deities must face each other, symbolizing a united front in safeguarding the home.
