As one of the most awaited and extravagant events of the year, the Pita's & Tika's Diwali Charity Gala was not just a night of celebration, but also that of donation. Diwali, one of the most important festivals in India, symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

The 2023 Gala created new records: 1.5 million RMB raised, 80 sponsors & partners and almost 300 guests participated.

Pita's & Tika's together with Grand Hyatt Hangzhou continue their philanthropic efforts by raising funds for two important programs. The first is the Kindness Dream Fulfillment student aid program, which aims to provide financial support to students with disabilities, from low-income backgrounds, or being orphaned in the Guizhou Qiandongnan prefecture.

The second program is the Hangzhou Relief of Major Illnesses and Accidental Injuries for the Children of Migrant Workers. It is an initiative aiming to provide support to the children of migrant workers, especially those having major physical disabilities. All funds have been collected via the Hangzhou Charity Federation and the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou Charity Fund.

Mr. Alan Feng made a lavish auction of 13 amazing items and some collections, such as a tailored suit, a painting, 2 jewelries, an artwork, one of the last 5 bottles of Sassicaia Wine, and even a Hangzhou-Hong Kong round trip by a private jet flight. All of them were donations.

The gala, held in a beautiful ballroom of Grand Hyatt Hangzhou, was decorated in the Indian style that was inspired by the iconic Hawa Mahal, in Jaipur. In addition, the Indian music and dance performances were staged and the delicious Indian food prepared by the talented Pita's and Tika's chefs was served.
