The Hangzhou Municipal Urban Management Bureau has unveiled a set of exhilarating water sports experiences across the city. Early this year, the city has rolled out ten designated water sports venues. Four lakes and rivers are open for reservations. Adventurers can immerse themselves in activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, rowing, and dragon boating, all available for online booking and even free trials.

Fengshou Lake: Every Friday, from 1 PM to 2 PM, water sports fans are welcome to get engaged in double kayaking. However, there's a cap of 10 participants per day, so early reservations are recommended.

Xiaolishan Diversion Canal: Every Friday, the canal hosts kayaking sessions from 5 PM to 6 PM, accommodating up to 20 participants daily.

Xitang River: On Tuesdays, participants can try kayaking and paddleboarding between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Similar to the other sections, there is an upper limit of 10 participants per day.

Wuchang Harbor: Dragon boating enthusiasts have their moments on Saturdays, from 4 PM to 6 PM. With 20 slots available each day, it promises to be an exciting spectacle.

Interested individuals can utilize the "River Life" mini-program on WeChat to make their reservations. However, it's important to note that the free trial sessions come with predefined time slots and participant quotas. Additionally, reservations need to be made one day ahead of time.

Apart from the four places open for reservations, the remaining waterways will foster public engagement through initiatives like forming river protection teams and conducting regular river patrols. This comprehensive approach ensures that Hangzhou's aquatic beauty remains an accessible and cherished asset for everyone.
